Linda Cassady recorded several singles on the Nashville-based Metro label in the late 1960s. Apparently an artist alert to cultural trends, she released "Is Santa Claus a Hippy?" as well as "CB Widow." For more information, See:

Ah, I've fond memories of the Silver Dollar cassette mail-order club in England in the 80's. Apart from major artists like George Jones, Bill Anderson, Wanda Jackson, Johnny Paycheck, George IV etc they also released minor-label artists like Linda Cassady and Mary Lou Turner, and singer-songwriters like Kent Westberry. Much missed, but I read on the internet that the owner is trying to re-start the label & hope he succeeds.
